Breast Enhancement: Achieve the Size and Shape You Want In Your Breasts

Thanks to cosmetic surgery, you can sculpt your body to look the way you want it to. If you’re looking for a change such as breast enhancement, our team will guide you on the journey to transforming your body. If you’re thinking about a breast enhancement procedure, you have choices that can help you to get the results you want to see.

What Is a Breast Enhancement?

A breast enhancement is a surgical procedure that will change the size and/or shape of your breasts to help you achieve your ideal breasts and boost confidence. This can be done in multiple ways, and results in a more youthful, supple appearance that will boost your confidence dramatically.

How Can I Increase My Bust Size?

When it comes to breast enhancement surgery, you have options, and the most popular is breast augmentation. If you’re looking for a larger cup size, breast augmentation surgery is a popular option. At the Advanced Center for Plastic Surgery (ACPS) in Timonium, we are proud to offer both saline implants and silicone implants to help you obtain your specifically desired changes. With breast implants, you also get to decide what size you want. Our experienced team will help you determine if your implants should be placed below your chest muscles or above your chest muscles to give you optimal results. Your breast enhancement procedure will be completely tailored to meet your wants and needs.

In addition to multiple implant choices, your breast enhancement options include the choice of a breast lift. With a breast lift, your bust changes in shape but not size, and it doesn’t require implants. This option may be better for you if you feel that you don’t want larger breasts, but simply wish to see your breasts in a different position and firmer shape. There’s also the combination of a breast implant and breast lift, for those who feel that a combination of the two is what’s best. The ACPS team will be happy to consult with you and plan out your procedure to ensure you get the body and image you want when the surgeries are done.

Why Get a Breast Enhancement?

Patients have sought breast enhancement procedures for a number of reasons, and every person has a different motivation for their choice. Perhaps you want to feel more like the real “you,” or you want to try out new clothing options that just aren’t working for your current physique. Maybe you’re recovering from pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding, or wish to offset the effects of aging. Whatever your reason, we’re here to help you achieve the self-image you truly want.

What Are the Risks That Come with Breast Enhancement?

The risks that come with breast enhancement procedures are minimal, and your consultation will help our team to ensure that your time here is as safe as possible. However, you should be aware of the possibility, however minimal, of a rupture. When a saline implant ruptures, it is easy to spot and address (and simply means saline will leak into surrounding tissue and be absorbed by your body). When a silicone implant ruptures, it is harder to spot (and it is therefore recommended to have regular checkups afterwards). It’s also possible that there may be sensation changes, breast tissue hardening over time, and potential surgical complications, though these risks are minimal.

Who Makes a Good Candidate for Breast Enhancement?

Just as there are a number of good reasons to select breast enhancement, there are a number of qualifications that make someone a good candidate for breast enhancement. Anyone looking to restore volume and shape to their breasts is welcome to discuss breast enhancement with us. Anyone who feels uncertain of their appearance, or insecure about their breast shape and size, is a good candidate as well. The team here at ACPS is fully supportive, and wants to help you feel like your best self.

Is a Breast Enhancement Procedure Right for Me?

Breast enhancement is a personal decision. You may have lost weight, and thus lost volume in your chest. Your breasts may not be symmetrical. Aging could be diminishing the size of your bust. You may simply not be happy with what you have. Regardless of why you are unhappy with your breasts, breast enhancement can give you a boost of confidence.

After you fully recover from your procedure, you can enjoy the results for years to come. Your breasts will be the size and shape you’ve yearned for, while still remaining natural looking. When you look in the mirror, we want you to love who’s looking back and at the end of the day, that’s our #1 goal with each breast enhancement procedure.
