What is Microneedling? 

Microneedling, or percutaneous collagen induction (PCI), is a non-surgical procedure in Baltimore that decreases the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks, and other issues. We use tiny needles to avoid discomfort and ensure precision in making micro-punctures in the skin, and the results can be incredible. Vivace

Candidates for Microneedling

Microneedling Procedure 

Your treatment begins with a thorough cleansing of the skin followed by the application of a topical numbing cream, which typically takes 30–45 minutes to take effect.

Once the skin is prepared, the selected microneedling device is applied to the treatment area. The device creates controlled micro-injuries while, in the case of Vivace, also delivering radiofrequency energy beneath the surface. The procedure is precise, efficient, and designed for patient comfort.

Microneedling Recovery & Results 

As microneedling is an outpatient procedure, you can return to work or home immediately after treatment. Your skin may be red and swollen, but that will diminish relatively quickly. An ice pack can help reduce irritation and discomfort. Most people can wear makeup the day after the procedure, but you should avoid the sun until your skin heals.

You may notice some results as your skin heals, but most will appear in time as collagen builds in your skin. You’ll notice your skin becomes firmer, smoother, and with fewer wrinkles and blemishes.
