Most people who come into our Baltimore office are good candidates for a Hydrafacial, but there are some considerations we take into account when determining if this skin rejuvenation treatment is right for you, including:

You will want to avoid strenuous exercise, picking your skin, and makeup use for 24 hours. Any prescription skincare like retinol, toners, and anything with salicylic acid can be used two to three days after treatment. When you wash your face during the first 24 hours, you’ll want to be gentle to avoid disrupting the skin’s barrier.
You’ll also need to limit your exposure to the sun as it will be more sensitive. Wear sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30.
As for results, you can expect to see improvements in your skin almost immediately after treatment, and it will continue to improve in the days and weeks afterward. Results tend to last 4-6 weeks but can last longer with an effective skincare regimen.
