How Does PrecisionTX Work as a Non-Surgical Neck Lift?
PrecisionTX is a micro laser liposuction and skin tightening procedure. The procedure is three-fold: liposuction, tightening and elevating the loose neck skin. The PrecisionTX tool uses a 1440 nm laser to break up the fat. A very thin liposuction cannula removes the fat. How Long Is the Procedure?
The PrecisionTX non-surgical neck lift (or lower face and neck lift) delivers results in 45 minutes to one hour. Your results will be visible shortly after the procedure but will continue to improve over the next 3-6 months.
What Is the Recovery for PrecisionTX Like?
On the day of your surgery, you should rest and watch for dizziness upon standing. You’ll experience side effects such as pain, swelling, discoloration, redness, numbness, and postoperative drainage. These symptoms are normal and will resolve in a few days. Drainage is normal and can be significant for 12-48 hours but will dissipate over time.
During this time you will also be sent home with a compression garment to reduce swelling and promote healing. It is okay to remove the garment for showering, however, you will need to wear it until your first postoperative appointment. Do not submerge your body in water for four weeks. Normal daily activities can be resumed the following day, however, exercise outside of walking should be resumed gradually.
The average downtime for the PrecisionTX procedure is approximately 14 days. You may return to work three to five days after your surgery but we recommend taking the time you need depending on how you are feeling. We also recommend refraining from putting on any makeup until you reach the two-week post-op mark.
One month after your procedure, you may still have some slight bruising and swelling, but it will resolve shortly.
After 3-6 months you’ll notice even better results as the collagen fills in. Over time your skin will continue to improve in its elasticity, texture, and thickness.
