Is Non-Surgical Lip Augmentation Right for Me?
You look around you at other women and the actresses on television. Full lips are one of the features that you notice the most. You want to have a beautiful pout and be able to pucker up with the best of them. Unfortunately, you don’t have much when it comes to your lips. You’ve tried to create the illusion of a fuller mouth by using cosmetics, but they don’t do the trick. You want to pump up the volume, but you don’t want to go through invasive surgery. You have other options. Non-surgical lip augmentation could be the answer for you.
How Does Non-Surgical Lip Augmentation Work?
If you are not interested in having implants inserted into your lips, you can always turn to non-surgical lip augmentation. Fillers can be injected into your lips to give them more fullness. Fillers are not permanent, but they can give you promising results and can be safely repeated. You can also consider a fat transfer. When you opt for a fat transfer, fat will be removed from one part of your body where there is excess. The fat will be purified and injected into your lips to give you the desired fullness. The results tend to last and you will have the added benefit of getting rid of unwanted fat.
Is Non-Surgical Lip Augmentation the Best Choice for You?
If you have excess fat somewhere on your body and you want a natural solution, non-surgical lip augmentation through the use of a fat transfer could work for you. If you want to go completely without any surgery, you can choose fillers to give you similar results.

In this injection procedure, fillers are injected into the face to fill in creases, or to add fullness to the lips. The most common fillers used are collagen, alloderm, and fat harvested from the patient’s own body. Permanency of the results varies from patient to patient. The anesthetic lidocaine is mixed with collagen before implantation, so no further anesthesia is usually necessary. For fat injections, the donor and recipient sites are numbed. Sedation may be used with both types of filler procedures.
